Features and Benefits

Both the staff and communication terminals are equipped with a color touchscreen display, enabling easy and intuitive operation through clear icons. This user-friendly interface ensures maximum comfort and efficiency for both staff and clients in daily use.

The system operates via VoIP communication, providing an unlimited number of voice and data channels. This enables virtually any system architecture to be designed and implemented during the planning and deployment stages. The system can then be easily modified or expanded to meet evolving user requirements.

System maintenance and management are primarily performed via secure remote internet access. Remote administration enables fault diagnosis, data maintenance, and system configuration or reconfiguration as needed. Software updates and upgrades can also be deployed seamlessly across all system components.

Operational reliability is ensured by continuous self-diagnostic functions that monitor the entire system. If a unit is disconnected or malfunctions, the system immediately detects the issue and alerts staff. All faults are reported in real time, enabling immediate resolution and maximum uptime.

By default, staff presence in the system is logged using dedicated buttons, enabling anonymous registration without identifying individual staff members. For enhanced system oversight, staff registration can be upgraded with RFID readers and cards. This functionality allows individual identification of healthcare staff using assigned RFID cards. Staff can also be assigned different access levels, such as physicians, nurses, or auxiliary staff.

The system supports the activation of a highest-priority emergency alert, commonly known as a “Blue Alarm”.

All system activities — including individual calls, voice connections, registrations, and alarms — are continuously logged and securely archived. These records can be reviewed at any time via a staff terminal or PC.

Through selected client bedside terminals, various in-room devices can be controlled, such as the television, blinds, internet radio, and more.

In the event of a network or power failure, all data remains fully protected. System operation continues via a local backup power supply until the central backup system is activated.

To protect client end devices from mechanical damage, magnetic breakaway connectors can be used. These connectors are designed to safely disconnect under excessive force or accidental pulling, without causing damage to the device or cable.

This function enables the transmission of caller identification via an audio signal.

All system information, including operational status, client data, and staff activity, is presented on the staff terminal’s large color touchscreen display.

The communication system enables seamless integration with other platforms used in healthcare and social care facilities, including fire alarm systems, security systems, and hospital information systems.

By logging staff presence on dedicated devices, the system provides a continuous overview of personnel movement throughout the facility. This information is displayed in real time on staff terminals and other display-equipped units. All activity is securely archived and available for retrospective review.

The system supports the integration of IP cameras, enabling live video feeds to be displayed directly on the staff terminal. This functionality is commonly used in conjunction with entrance units, providing a modern alternative to traditional video intercom systems.
